Sounds like you’re doing a two-sided business card. Make both sides horizontal, or vertical, so the printer knows the correct orientation.

Your image link is not working. I would suggest adjusting curves (individual color channels) until you get the look you’re after. CTRL-M or APPLE-M.

Try applying the NTSC filter (“filter” “video” “NTSC colors”) in Photoshop if you’re working with a broadcast project. Your project settings in After Effects will determine how to go about “syncing” the two.

I run across this as well and I do a combination of a small amount of desaturate along with a slight amount of brightness. I usually select the teeth and drop them on a new layer, then, if needed, screen back the opacity to blend it for a more real appearance.

Because the shot is “natural”, the hands look naturally big. So, maybe you’re focused on them too much. Show the image to a few people who’ve never seen the shot and ask them if they think anything looks unusual in the photo.
If you still feel they are too large, I would isolate the hand(s) by cutting them out (pen tool) and pasting them into new layers separately. Then scale each hand appropriately (I would probably make slight adjustments). Extreme adjustments might look strange.

Your image is too small, and your layout in Dreamweaver is stretching your image to fit. Get the exact width of your table in Dreamweaver (in this case it’s 800px wide) and make your image in Photoshop the same width.

Which after replying to this it took me to Letters to the Cow Team instead of keeping me in the Photoshop forum.

I’ve noticed that when replying to posts in the Photoshop forum it then takes me to a different forum – After Effects, Encore…feels like its redirecting me because maybe the original post belonged in one of those forums…seems like the topic fit. For example, when replying to a post regarding Photoshop/Encore (in the Photoshop forum) it would then take me to the Encore forum.

In Photoshop, I’d keep my images larger than your project size in FCP so you can zoom in / out without running out of image. For instance, if your project in FCP is 720p, make your Photoshop images 1400px x 788px (size depends on how much you’re going to move these images). You might even go larger just so you know you have enough image to slide around with. If you’re going to broadcast with this, use the NTSC Safe filter in Photoshop (Filter, Video, NTSC Colors). And, I would save them as a 24 bit Targa out of Photoshop.

Maybe in your default RGB color settings in “Edit, Color Settings”. Try changing your working RGB space and see if it holds.
