In DVDA you can select the audio to use….unless you are trying to view it outside of DVDA, in that case I would re-render to MPEG 2 WITH audio.

I also was wondering where it is…I have issues with my audio workflow whenever I use my Waves plug-ins and there is supposed to be “better audio workflow” in the update….here’s hoping it is soon!

  • Have you tried another PCIe slot? I found my Intensity to have issues with the one closet to my PCIe for my video card….just a thought.

  • DVD’s are not HD quality…if you are burning to Blu-Ray there are templates under the Sony AVC dropdown.
    Good luck

  • See if your motherboard supports the Phenom X2 hexacore chips…if so there are REALLY fast, my rendering times REALLY were reduced. Also, 64bit Windows 7 is awesome, I also agree that you would see a good benefit with going that way as well.

Thanks for the input, these are NOT HD quality as the spots and running footage I work with are all from BETA SP, don’t ask me why, but that is what these dealers have…
So what do these services require for SD 720×480(486) interlaced or progressive?

    Thanks

I have had NO issues with Motu products (audio) in the 11 years I have used them…all PC.
However, I also thought about this product and did not look further when I did not see any support for Vegas. So I agree with John on this. I use the Blackmagic Intensity Pro and have had great luck!

Are you using any audio plug-ins in vegas?

  • You can use the “selection edit tool” and grab all your events. “cntrl g” will group all of the events and then you can move them all together as long as you DO NOT have the “ignore event grouping” click (all these tools are at the top of the screen under the drop down menus.
If you are using envelopes be sure to have lock “envelopes to events” selected under options.

    Good Luck

Sounds good and that was what I expected. I am working through an agency and sometimes I know the “standards” for each station and sometimes I do not. Mostly I get an order with no requirements of video other than MPEG, AVI or MPEG 2…
    Thanks again John and other!
