Thanks Michael,
From your responses in various posts, it seems as though you are well versed on compressor and I would imagine the CinemaCraft MP as well, would you suggest the CC MP be worth the money or would you suggest to simply continue to trial/error with Compressor?

Right now I’m not sure of the footage, but the tvc that I believe we’ll need to put on the DVD was shot on 35mm, what kind of file I’ll be receiving is another story that no one can get me details on apparently.
I have previous tvcs that were shot in DVCPro 720p and 1080i that I’ve been trying to work with getting it into a very high quality SD DVD image.
Should I go for BitVice or stick with Compressor? Or go into the PC route, my main question is how to get the best possible image quality that a SD DVD can have.

April 19, 2009 at 6:14 am in reply to: Remove Pulldown in Log and Transfer not working??I’m having the exact same issues. When I play back the footage that was shot at 24p on FCP I get serious interlacing and motion blur. When I try to convert via Cinema tools it gives me the error of not being able to continue due to the file having temporal compression.
Also, my Log And Transfer is reducing the 1080i60/24p to 1280 x 1080, I realize this is normal in FCP, but usually are the QTs not detailed to be the original size of 1920 x 1080, I thought it used to be like this, but now even the QT file info gives the dimensions of 1280 x 1080.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I’m not sure if this is what you’re looking for but:
On a Mac if you press and hold together the Shift + Apple + 4 buttons then you will see your mouse pointer change, and all you have to do is click on your first point and drag out the square/rectangle to the size you want and let go, it’ll turn into picture1.png on your desktop. You can do this with any thing on the screen, website or desktop or anything that is on your screen.

Hey Rainer,
Thanks for the info about the wideangle lens. My main question is in regards to lens adapters that allow 35mm SLR lens to be used with the HVX200 or the lens adapters that allow us to use PL Mount lenses.
