Me personaly? I wouldnt buy a Macintel for about a year and a half. Its a lot of changes to happen at once. I’d pick up a good dual 2Ghz or so and use it productively until all the new stuff gets up and running. But; that me. At this point for me if it works stick with it.

I did and got a lot of results but knowing very little about any of them I was hoping for a recomendation from someone who is using one.

Agreed. Its easy to add more memory down the road when you have some more money.

I’ve never heard of an entire folder getting corrupted. Individual files; but not an entire folder. Sounds weird man.

I had this very same problem last week. The problem was exactly what Mariana said, the tone. After pulling my hair out for a couple of hours I figured this out and overwrote it and all was fine.
