Found buried on the Avid site that QT 7 should not be installed. Uninstalled 7 and installed 6.5.2. All is well now.

Thanks Grinner, we do have the keyboards with the symbols on them. I forget what the symbols are. I should just order another placemat from Loren Miller.

Thanks, We have Scenarist on this machine also. I am freelancing PT at this shop and am not to familar with Unity set up (was always done by IT) How do you go about “hooking up” to the Unity?

What about ability to add modifier keys to keyboard shortcuts (ie command,option,shift,control)

Your rendering days are not over. Lessened yes, over no. There is no drawback that I know of.

Short answer. No, FCP does not have an incremental save feature. Check out Martin Baker’s tip on a really clever way to do this manually on the Digital Heaven website (under their podcast).

I have the least problems with MPEG-1 for clients.

David, we have been using the On2 exporter about a month ago for our Flash encoder needs. So far it woks flawlessly. Amazingly good looking encodes with very small file sizes. Easy to use, works in QT,FCP, Compressor etc. Highly reccomend.
