But regarding hackintosh, your energy bill is much more efficient if you swap those old 285s for new 570s.

Yes and there is a solution for it .
A fix for this requires a few command for you to type on the terminal. This will uninstall the database, so the next install of Resolve will install it properly.
1) Stop the server
sudo /sbin/SystemStarter stop postgresql-8.4
2) Remove menu shortcuts:
sudo rm -rf /Applications/PostgreSQL 8.4
3) Remove the ini file
sudo rm -rf /etc/postgres-reg.ini
4) Removing Startup Items
sudo rm -rf /Library/StartupItems/postgresql-8.4
5) Remove the data and installed files
sudo rm -rf /Library/PostgreSQL/8.4
6) Delete the user postgres
sudo dscl . delete /users/postgresNow, re-install Resolve, reboot, and then start Resolve.

I suggest moving away from the local DB and using a dedicated machine for it.

You cant render with normally scaled video, because its the video output, not the render output.
Easiest thing is to build yourself a LUT that does some scaling from the bottom and the top to the values given in the last post.
Thats what we do if its a file based delivery.
Technically its not really correct, and if you deliver that to a station which defaults on scaling you might get double scaling.
I suggest to ask your client to provide you with an example of what they expect, a color bar treated by their own method and then examine that and recreate its nature.A slice of color…

I like the Resolve ones and they are really easy to use, I just would like to be able to be more selcetive of WHAT I animate.
For example, if you animate a shape and want to increase its softness, you need to do that on every keyframe.
And I didnt find a way to delete the unwanted ones.
So I would vote for a local or global keyframe editor that allows you to animate ONLY the selected parameter.

If they were 5000 I would buy em tomorrow .
For 10000 I would ask the bank for a loan .
I used them for a couple a weeks and they are awesome . But Ill get the job done on the wave too .

My only problem is , its actually eating in to the blur too, so its not widen the key, but soften it only.
Offset seams to go directly to the color values too.
So yeah, it would be nice if they would add some Grow/Shrink options to a already defined key that works kinda like the inner and outer softness mask.A slice of color…
