Are you using data or video levels ?
I would try to avoid grading on h264 directly.
Try converting them to ProRes 4444 or DPX if your system allows and then grade on that.A slice of color…

I think there is a problem with the interface and using a pen.
If you try to aim in the absolute center of a thumbnail it WILL open a popup menu.
If you miss is, you can see that the it moves the thumbneil proportionally to the direction you are off center.

Probably your display was clipping to white before..
Try lowering your light level, does the same happen ?
If so, make sure your highlights outside the visible range are still neutral with a highlight dasaturation node.A slice of color…

Please load all your media in Resolve and render your master timeline to ProRes 4444, assigning TC and some manners to that horrible Canon codec 😉

I would suggest to convert to DPX and not ProRes to ProRes ..
And your compositor should start and you should grade afterwards IMHO 🙂A slice of color…

Because it doesn’t work 😉
I have 5 EDLs and it only works the first time.
After there is media in the pool, the function doesnt add the missing files for the other EDLs.But I found a way around that freezing bug.
1. Load all media
2. Conform based on EDL or AAF
3. Update Usage
4. Sort by Usage
5. Select all 0 Usage files
6. Sort by name ( IMPORTANT)
7. Now delete selected files.If you miss point 6, it freezes.

Some more info on this…
Using the Usage tab actually gave me an result after .. 20 minutes or so.
The next problem is deleting everything that has 0 uses.
Even when deleting only 3 files it hangs..
I guess its because it wants to sort em again.
Maybe someone with a long project can make a test like this to confirm.A slice of color…

Well, his problem is that the timecode is identical for the versions and Resolve is always using version 1 as default.
I agree, it should use the one that is active as defaultA slice of color…
