I noticed bad a problem with skin tones in Resolve 9 with my 5d footage when compared to premiere pro or VLC player. It seems fine with prores files. Is there anything I should change in the settings? Notice the guys face in the top picture.

Are you using data or video levels ?
I would try to avoid grading on h264 directly.
Try converting them to ProRes 4444 or DPX if your system allows and then grade on that.

I tried both, no change. Why would they claim the ability to edit h.264 native if it does this to the file?
