How is it possible to only apply the smoothing to the y-value, not the x?
At the moment I just know how to put it to Position, but then it work for x and y.

Now I have to ask really stupid:
In the page they describe three parameters in brackets,
in the example below it’s two – how many is it now?
Where do I ad the expression? Any parameter possible that has to be smoothened?

    Sascha?

Pfff, I admit, I am a mess when it comes to Expressions, even look at that site will take me a while to under stand. Could you be so kind and tell me what expression, I have to insert to what Parameter. Thank you so much.

Without seeing anything, that is quiet a guess work.
If your footage suffers from lots of grain, try Magic Bullet Denoiser, the best Denoiser out there. It’ll do a brilliant job.
If you have a lot of artifacting going on, try magic bullet’s Frames Plus: and use the de-artifacting function of it.

Open your footage with the voice over in QT Pro, which you must have since you got FCP. Then go to export and export it as AIFF 48,000khz and save it. Import that extracted version and you have audio only.

On the left of timeline is a green round button, there u can switch it off & on.
Also: select all clips on the track you want to switch off and press: control + B.

Once you dropped the template from the viewer to the browser, it not right clicking, but inside your browser, you have to scroll horizontal, through all the different tabs, such as media start, media in, aspect ratio and so on.
You have to scroll quiet a bit to the right, then you will see the column: Anamorphic. Click on it to check that box, now drop your template from out browser back on the timeline, and it’s 16:9.

  • You could set your timeline to play base layer only,
and it will play it without the effect, just the naked clips.
Or you select all the clips in your tl and right mouse click, choose remove attributes-> Filters.
    Then they are gone.
After watching just do “undo” and they are back on.

  • Hi Ryan,

but as far as I know, you can hook up a Black Magic Graphics card externally over Thunderbolt, so that should not be a problem either.
I did some research, cause I sit in exactly the same dilema right now.
Because I edit a lot on the road, I thoought of buy a MBP 17inch, external RAID and Graphics card – Thunderbold connected.
It’s still cheaper than a MAcPro, where I live and I can stay mobile.
