I’ve unchecked a video filter in all of my clips for playback purposes. Rather than open each clip into the Viewer and check ‘on’ the video filter, is there a way to do this for all of my clips in the timeline ?

    No.

Why are you turning off the filters in the first place? Maybe there’s a better workflow to use…

You could set your timeline to play base layer only,
and it will play it without the effect, just the naked clips.
Or you select all the clips in your tl and right mouse click, choose remove attributes-> Filters.
    Then they are gone.
After watching just do “undo” and they are back on.
