But what I meant about the Power Grades: There was a side for COLOR, where colorists could upload their own creations and freely download them as well from others.

Well, I love Apple, always worked with it, but in Israel, the Machines are just way to expansive. It’s insane.
And this one will kick any iMac i7’s. The guy who builds them is a pro, he builds them for sound and video studios here as well. And he gives support also for upgrading, so I won’t have too many headaches i Hope.
And it costs nearly the half of a comparable Mac….just that there even isn’t a comparable Mac out there right now. 😉Greetz,

Yup, that’s all bad news, but only partially, since I usually worked in FCP 7 and did not mind the L&T process there, since I love to work with ProRes files. Just wanted to use it for fast jobs to avoid ingesting.
But the other great news is, that I get my brand new HacMac delivered tomorrow: 12TB Stripped RAID beast with extra 256 SSD Drive, 12TB of SATA3 Server Grade Drives, 32GB of RAM and 3,4Ghz processor with a 2GB NVIDEA GTX680 card….so I scream out loud to the AVCHD files: Bring it on Dudes!😉

I installed the new CUDA Driver, but already step 2 I could not do: Install the Card Status Program, since I still run 10.6.8. and it doesn’t not run on this OSX.

No luck needed. I need the machine on Pro Level, so I got it build by a Pro Tecnician, who makes those machines here in Israel, since real Macs are out of the world expansive here.
