Hi Marc,
It’s a Hackintosh, i7, 32GB RAM, NVIDIA 980ti 6GB, SSD hard Drive with
500MB/sec speed.
Material is 4K proxy Apple ProRes.
25fps.
And it’s DVR studio V16.0.But there’s no connection to the specs or material.
Just before the update to 16, everything was fine.
Never had any issues like that on any version before.
And I’m using DaVinci on this Hackintosh since
V9.It’s clearly connected to the updated DVR, since that’s the only thing
That changed before the problem started.Best,

Hallo Michael,
Unfortunately, not working – I upgraded to 16, and still would not reconnect.
And actually, 16 does seem to be way more buggy: Getting occasional black frames flickering into playback without any apparent reason.

Hi to everybody,
It seems to be indeed a bug or short coming of Version 15.
In Version 16 it does re-link without a problem.Just not sure if I want 16 already… usually I don’t trust first versions of an upgrade.

As I said: that is exactly, why it’s weird and I assume it’s a big:
Everything is matching 1 on 1.
Compared all meta data. In the same batch process i did the H.264 10 bit
GH5 proxies … and they all work perfectly.
Only the BRAW is in strike.Sascha.

As I wrote before: all matches: TCs, Reel names, FPS, everything.
I also tried all variations in the assist preferences.

Hi Glenn,
At the moment everything is still in the same application, DaVinci.
Since it’s also my first time I wanted to test drive the workflow, before the offline comes back from AVID.
So, all proxies were created in DaVinci, it kept all MetaData intact, including time codes and frame rates.
That’s exactly why it’s so weird,
Also my first time to work with BRaw, and that’s why I feel a little lost, since I never had an issue like this in DaVinci ever before.Best,

Yes, the material is of course in the media browser. Yet, it’s not possible to re-link, mainly cause DaVinci claims to not find any matching material in the pointed folder, even though it contains the right rushes.

Of course, first thing I did.
All Meta Data just fine.
First time ever, since I make proxies with
DaVinci that I encounter such an issue.
If I select one clip, I can force it to relink with the “replace footage” command.
But doing that one by one for more than 500 clips is ridiculous.Best,
