Or you can select the face of the side you want and drag the material and drop it directly on the selected face (not on the object in object manager), Set selection(triangle icon) will automatically created next to the material.

Hi Dan,

All the dot positions are predicted there is no random locations, only the flickering lights has to be in random, something like this ‘https://img.diytrade.com/cdimg/856805/7954021/0/1234318277/LED_Light_Bar.jpg’, the best example would be ‘Computer Modem Lights’ it keeps flickering once in a while and not fully but partially.

Lets say 20 by 10 (20 Column and 10 rows) set of lights, and all the lights are ON, and it flickers every few sec randomly. Few of them is more bright and few are dull (but flickering) and few of them are completely OFF.

Iam not sure if that make sense or not, if not please let me know i’ll make a drawing in step by step.

HiDan,

Iam using the one where i can adjust the y value

(yAdj = thisComp.layer(“Null 1”).effect(“Slider Control”)(“Slider”);
value + [0,yAdj].

After i linked the circle to the slider, its working fine. But i have one more issue i want to stop the slider at 80 (80 should be the max., even if i slider more than 80 it shouldn’t move). Now, how do i lock the value at 80 so i can move from 0 to 80 only.

which took me 3 weeks for that for the effects part, this time i need to take one step further to project the earth out of the glass, these are the R&D iam working on.

I have this whole month only for R&D, will post the video once i through with this.
