The Second point is what i was looking for, i don’t want to apply the text as texture. I want to stick out, you can check this site of John Dickerson’s motion works (https://www.motionworks.com.au/) if you scroll down to the bottom right you’ll see a tag box, Place your mouse cursor on that, something similar i was expecting.

I tried with the null and linked the text to it, the placement is not matching, something like mexico, brazil, Uk, i have all those text and i want to match it with their location and stick there and follow the movement of the earth.

Correct me if iam wrong, i created a null and linked the text to the null and i linked the roation of the null to the earth’s rotation (cc sphere) and i offset the text so that its sticking outside the earth and not inside, iam getting some funny rotation.

    Thanks

Hey thanks i was looking similar to this. linking two points with line through beam effects is working good, but how do you get the curvy line as if you move the dot it should be like a ‘S’ or ‘C’ curve like the one comes in ‘Iron Man 2 movie’.

Iam working on something similar to that and trying to get that effect, thanks in advance.

    Thanks

YES, Never Render Compressed file from AE. Always Render full HI-DEF and use some other program to do the various compressions. It saves a lot of time.

    Thanks

You can do a simple model in 3d and wrap your logo there and do whatever animation you want, and bring only the logo with alpha to After Effects and do the composition here.

    Thanks

Is it possible to post the image, if its going to be a primitive shapes then you can use the sphere or cylinder to wrap the image and fake that its on the main object.

    Thanks
    sanj.
