btw… if you watch most load up screens for many products you can see loading fonts come up. It’s that way with all adobe products I have. I guess that’s where the problem lies.

try rendering a shadow pass in lightwave. I use c4d and it works just fine. the shadow comes in as a separate layer that can be just laid over the video.

i just attended a training session by Chris Meyers and his advice for this kind of thing was ASK the folks who will be doing the conversion. There are hundreds of options and if you just guess you’ll be going back and redoing the project. Many times, the best results are had by just handing a hq tape to a transfer house and letting them upconvert, that is, if your project is already done in SD… I’d trust Chris, from what I gather, they do this stuff every day.
