You might want to look at this tutorial. It uses road signs that could be substituted for your monitors.

try unchecking effects lables (something like that) in the ui part of the preferences where you can set the brightness. (ae7) ott, i don’t have any idea how to change the color of the text.

Check the interpretation and make sure that antialiasing is set to more accurate rather than faster. you’ll find it under options at the bottom of the window.

color stabalize may do it. it is available on the pro version and is designed to fix brightness problems. you just pick points you want to level out and it does a prety good job. auto color balance won’t work for your problem.

as I understand it windows didn’t renew the license to adobe for the mac version so it isn’t available by default in osx.

are you looking for valueAtTime?
something like
thisComp.layer(“Null 1”).transform.position.valueAtTime(1)
would give you the position value of null 1 at 1 second. combine this with an if else statement and you could make things happen.
