Actually, my new 6 hour epic was edited in Vegas. Unfortunately, someone from Asia pirated it at hits grand opening at Gruman’s Chinese Theater and MGM won’t distribute it.

I know that 7 will support XDCAM HD and it would be pretty stupid if it didn’t support 35mb/s

You mentioned that it worked with a DV deck—What are you using now?

If your shooting a documentary, and you dont have loads of memory cards, and a place to dump their contents, you will have a problem. The HVX doesn’t record either DVPRO/50 Or HD directly to tape—only standard DV. The Z1U, gives you excellent quality HDV, shooting directly to tape.
