thanks for the reply David! i just tried saving it as a tiff but it comes out looking bad. all detail is washed out. it is looking more and more like i will have to go back and redo the coloring finally.
fyi, the image has been flattened and since then closed and reopened so there is no going back in the history palette.
any other suggestions by chance before i re-color?

  • all right! thanks again for all your help Michael.

  • thanks Michael for such a fast reply! i see you contribute a lot on this forum. i did not even consider HD tape but i know the festival does not screen in that format. for future purposes, how could i get it to tape?

concerning blu-ray, that means i will need an external burner plus to view it i will either need a blu-ray player or bootcamp windows vista on my mac right?

thanks a lot Kevin and Todd! finally, i ran out of time and ditched the color of the text i was using (red) and went to switching from RGB to Alpha on the render settings which made them white and with that all was crystal. no big deal really except for i was hoping for red but now with your guys input i can try again on another project.

    all the best,

    Ryan

thanks Kathlyn for the reply! yes i did try the library but i did not find it unfortunately. i also tried searching google but i only get text tutorials not dealing with animating on a path until just now but i am convinced there is one here at creative cow that i can not locate.

    anyways, thanks again!
