i could not find a thread on this so here goes my question (hope this makes sense!). i want to blend clips in the timeline so that i can see both clips overlapping each other simultaneously? where one clip is slightly translucent than the other. can i do this in FCP or do i need to do this in AE?

    thanks,

    Ryan

Put clip 1 on V1 and clip 2 on V2.

Double click on the clip on V2 to load into the viewer.

Adjust the opacity of the clip in the motion tab using the opacity control.
