    Shane,

Thanks for responding. If I export it as an uncompressed 8-bit sequence, will I lose quality? I did a test clip and it played on the PC. I don’t have a PC avid to test it on, but it played fine on the PC as a quicktime file.

But if Animation will be the best way to play it back on an avid system, I will just do it like that.

But the HD version of the same card could capture HDV as DVCPro HD?
When I installed the software for the card it also updated FCP 4.5 with a bunch of extra sequence settings for HDTV, HDV and 2k settings. If it can’t do HD why did the software give me all those new settings?

I have the Decklink Extreme PCIe model. Would I be able to capture HDV as DVCPro HD with the card? I’ve seen workflows advice and some people say converting the HDV native to DVCPro is much easier to edit with.

    Thanks

The folder is left as is, it’s in the proper place, but still does not work.
