    aside from the external backup,
with the 3 internal drives setup as a raid 0, does that raid setup show up as one 3tb drive in your os?
and what if one drive fails internally, can you easily replace the failed one with a new hard drive?

it will playback okay raw, but if i add a plugin like colorista it begins to lag. is that still a cpu issue?

There is no option on the r3d file in the project window. I right-click and I don’t see an option for seeing color meta data.

What if I alter the color in RedCine X and it saves to Metadata. Can I reload the r3d clip and it will show load the new color changes?

I have looked at that article.
I have tried different email smtp settings for gmail and iCloud. I still get that error.

What does that error message mean?

I don’t mean to be rude, but I was just wanting to know if there was a way to to set up sliders that would adjust certain settings like After Effects as a preset.

I already said in the original post that I know it sounds ridiculous.
I was just asking if it’s possible to create presets with adjustment sliders, similar to what is possible in After Effects.

Obviously it’s not one size fits all.
I DO GET IT. And no one asked about your hourly rate.
Any look has been done. And there actually a few different looks you can get out of Mojo.
But I know nothing is better than doing it from scratch, AS I SAID IN THE ORIGINAL POST…

If you aren’t going to give a response other than repeatedly just saying do it your way, then just don’t bother.

what i like about mojo is the sliders is that they doing a few things at once, making it faster to work when there isn’t time. and i’d like to take the process into using the raw r3d data to perhaps get better detail.

not all projects allow for time to do the ideal color grading, as i mentioned. i was just hoping to be able to still use the r3d data with the quickness of a mojo style speed.

March 3, 2012 at 6:01 am in reply to: Keying RED Scarlet footage

I hate having to use MB Denoiser bc it slows working down so much and has unpredictable renders.
but i have thrown and it does help some, but not a lot.
should i apply before or after key?
i have tried both, before works a little bit better, but after helps clean the edges in hair.

the hair is the real problem, i can get a decent key, but the hair is very noisy.
