  • Using Red Raw R3D color metadata in After Effects

Is there a way to access the r3d metadata for coloring in After Effects like you can in Premiere?
I’m able to import r3d files and use them. But can I color correct in After Effects with access to the RAW color metadata?

It’s the same as in Premiere Pro.

What if I alter the color in RedCine X and it saves to Metadata. Can I reload the r3d clip and it will show load the new color changes?

Yes. As I said, it’s the same as Premiere Pro.

There is no option on the r3d file in the project window. I right-click and I don’t see an option for seeing color meta data.
