I was afraid that was the case. Thank you!

You’re following the workflow as best as possible.

I guess what I’m hoping for is some way to “mark” the media file while in multicam so that I could open that media file in another instance of Vegas and trim to just that mark.

Ok, system restore failed. I manually uninstalled the most recent Windows updates. I also noticed that Windows defender notified me of a completed scan.
Opened Vegas and project works fine.
I also noticed the computer’s fan is kicking in to higher gear as it usually does under greater demand.
Anybody got any insight so I can fix it next time?

I’ve now tried different projects/ media as well as transferred media to primary drive. Same result. This has dropped the playback in the preview window to the point that it is unusable.
I’m currently doing a system restore back to when i know I was editing fine.

    Windows 10
    HP laptop

I have played it on the stock Windows10 media player (Groove?).

I’ll give both of those options you mentioned a try later when I’m back at my desk. I’ll also update for anyone else to reference later.

    Thank you for your time!

    Thanks, Roger.
I’ve done that before. I was hoping there might be a more efficient path.

VCR is playing VHS tape. VCR out with RCA cables, barrel connections, RCA to 1/8″ TRRS cable to A/V out/in of GL2. Basically using the GL2 as an RCA to Firewire (analog to digital) interface.
