Ok, I filmed an event where they gave the same performance twice. They had me film both performances. I used some different angles for each performance and would love to be able to mix in the different nights. They did not use click tracks on everything, so there was a slight tempo variance. I lined up the clips as best I could by cutting and sliding the “other” night clips as needed. I also could get them real close by slowing down or speeding up some of the clips by ctrl+dragging the edges. When I combine into a multicamera camera track, it’s as if I lose what I did with the timing (speeding up and slowing down).

Am I missing something or just trying to accomplish what can’t really be done?

When you create a multi camera track effect are lost. Looks like speeding or slowing it down counts too. The only way I know to get around this is to render the edited footage, reimport it, then use that for the multicamera track.

I was afraid that was the case. Thank you!
