The client is using Windows Media Player. I have tried the disc in one of my machines and VLC player plays it.

I think your right about windows and the MEG Decoder.

I have tried this already but the title button still goes to the menu. I don’t know how to effect the title button for just one timeline cause its at the dics level.

I have never put together a slide show before but your problem sounds like something that use to happen to me when I was putting together DVD menus in photoshop and then bringing them into Encore.

What I found was if I added a drop shadow or another effect to the words in photoshop, encore would blur them and they looked pixelated. The way I found around this was rasterising my text layers or flattening them. Im not to sure if this is whats happening to yours but if you can: try rasterizing your text layers.

You are absolutely right Job. Your method is the best way of doin the masking and Im sure it came across far more complicated but thats what I was trying to say (In a long winded way).

I only mentioned Mocha because its the best program to use for tracking of the billboard so the still looks realistically there in the shot if trucks are completely blocking it in frames.

I think Jeremy and Alejandro have the right idea, by duping the orginal footage and droping your still in the middle. Another way (but this will cost you) is by using a program calleed: Mocha AE. Aharon Rabinowitz done a great tutorial on this program so you should check it out.

Basically Mocha lets you track your footage and then you can apply the four corner pins to your still frame.the best thing about this program is you can track the footage even when your four pins can’t be seen, so when the trucks pass by the billboard mocha will still track the exact point you choose (ie the four corners). Dont worry Aharon explains this far better than I can but you should check it out. Once you have the footage tracked and the still in place you then only have to mask the parts the trucks and cars pass by the billboard on the second copy of your orignal footage, sitting on top.

Hello all!

Cheers to everyone for all the advice.I will look into what everybody said and see which effect looks the most realistic (and yes I know how strange thats sounds).

I have been using AE for a bit now and I know (what I consider) a good bit of stuff but when it comes to putting it all togetjer and making it all work I seem to always miss important steps so thanks for explaining for me.

Ok cool. I didn’t know you could add the wiggle expression to an effect. Do I use the slider expression to do this?
