Actually, I’ll be honest: Audacity totally beat Izoptope as far as removing the background hum sound! Surprising, but true!

The only thing, it left the person talking sounding kinda tinny/underewaterish. Can I restore the sound of the person talking with a plugin in SVP? If so, which one would work the best?

Well, there’s another problem: when I adjust the sliders while playing the audio, it doesn’t make any sound change.

Does adjust sliders in the demo while playing the audio not work?

Ok. I think I got it!

I actually watched a quick tutorial online and this English guy used the Denoise feature.

I followed his steps and it works beautifully!

No more hum in the background!

So, how much does Izoptope RX2 cost? Any good deals out there?

Is Izotope a plugin that I can get for SVP 12, or is it a completely separate application?

If separate, how would I get the audio track from SVP to Izotope? (I record my sounds on a Tascam DR-40, so the sound file is separate.)

No. I’m on one monitor, my laptop.

Interesting, something I tried last night: I took a clip and put it in a new project, and then the secondary color corrector worked when I wanted to view the mask.

But, if I drag that clip into an already existing project, that’s when I simply get a white preview screen when I click the Mask option.

Yes, I have SVP 12 build 394.

I got the file originally online as a png file, then had to convert it to jpg in Photoshop before it would work.

Actually, I think I figured it out.

The image was a .PNG format. When I converted it to .JPG in Photoshop, it worked fine.

Does Vegas not like PNGs?
