Not sure what you mean… the subclip is showing the left half of the stereo image stabilized. I’m only interested in the stereo (the original L and R files are equally unstabilized). https://screencast.com/t/0EyksokZ3DyX

Guess there’s not a lot of you doing stereo 3D??

Guess I’ll try even more settings… will try putting cache on RAID (program) drive. With every Sony update I hope for a smooth operation, this latest one (640) didn’t help. (At this point it’s better to just render a video file and check that!)

I’m in business… sort of. After clearing “the pool”, the thumbnails still have to refresh every time I scroll, but I’m not getting the “not responding” (unless I switch programs and come back to Vegas, then it’s just a minute or two). Thumbnails in Explorer scroll perfectly, but Media Bin is a real PIA.

Yes, it’s still slow, must refresh continually (often takes several minutes), but at least it “recovers”. I see another thread popped up with the same problem! Only reason I use Sony is the incredible 3D support. Otherwise, ARGH!

Thanks… I’ll try the previous build as well. Suppose I have to uninstall first? Interestingly, I loaded (current) Sony Movie Studio to see how it behaved (trial version) and I get the exact same problems!

Apparently the Sony forum is useless! Mine has now decided to go into “Not Responding” permanently mode after scrolling through a few “pages”. Argh.

The codec pack is strictly for thumbnails… I can see .pdfs, .psds, .eps and .mpo file thumbnails. In any case, I uninstalled and am having the SAME issue. Browsing, then permanent “not responding”, I’ve got almost 300 STILL images in the media bin…

Interesting question, Stephen… Windows Explorer thumbnails have been IMPROVED since I added this codec several weeks ago https://www.fastpictureviewer.com/codecs/
Now I can see thumbnails I couldn’t see before! I wonder if it’s affected the Sony Media “explorer”?? I guess I have to uninstall and find out. Argh!! (thanks)

Damn. All I’m doing is scrolling through the media bin looking at assets and NOT RESPONDING comes up after a few scrolls… has happened a number of times. I don’t know if this is related to the “Refresh” issue I’ve recently brought up (the thumbnails have to REFRESH every single time they’re brought into view! THAT can’t be right! I turned off the GPU render and turned off anti-virus. I have 24gb RAM (5000 set for Vegas). Great program when it works. Maybe I have to try another computer? Damn.
