What’s wrong with adding tracks if it’s optional. If you don’t like it then you don’t have it use them , you can forget there even there, but more people might start buying FCPx and may be then Apple would give it more attention .
    I would go back.

Thanks guys. Will Im a little disappointed , I assumed most pro cameras had ND filters. I really depend on mine, I guess I ‘ll have to learn more about matt boxes and filters if I want to up grade my camera.

I do a lot of on the fly shooting, in and out of sun light usually hand held with much time for setting up the camera.

I guess I got into the habit of deleting clips from the bin but not the timeline in FPC7.
I edit 4 new 1/2 hour episodes of a local TV show a month. The way I start a new episode is to make a new project, drag all the content from the old project into it. Then I delete all the old show’s segments (bins) , but I like to be able to reference the old timeline for commercial breaks and things. I also miss having multiply projects open at once. I know I can import projects and sequences, but I am just use to the old way.

In PP CC the process is a little different , but there are a lot of new things that make up for what I miss in FCP7

I just realized I did the Trash bin thing in FCP7, I just named the bin Not In Use, instead of Trash

I kinda look at editing programs like countries. Each one has it’s own set of laws that I have to learn when working in that country.
