Would you get a solid state hard drive for the OS and other programs? I too think SV pro 10 should have a lot of impact on renders. For me after doing this h.264 video I would expect better support for this format and I think it will support CUDA for rendering(with the right video card)Looks like they have a fix for the cmos jello effect and anti camera shake.

Could you try swapping out the media on the timeline that corresponds to the problem just to see if it makes a difference. This would not be a solution but it might get you closer to finding out the problem.

Its a funny one when you don’t know who the end user is. I guess I can always render later to what ever they ask for (providing vegas can do it).

To answer your question 1920 x 1080 mpeg 4 I think I set it to 10000000 bps. Ended up being a 295mb file.

Yes John has helped me many times already. But my main concern is not for youtube but to impress the people at the film festivals. I have to maintain the 25p and full hi def as lossless as possible. even if the file ends up being over 5gigs. I might try a .mov render but even then I am not sure what settings I need.

    Hi Danny
Yeah that’s all they gave me. It was shot over 2 days in a very small room. I did have 140gig of footage to fish through. It was a big learning curve at every level. But now I just have to do a very high quality render and then my job is done on this one. And now I’m looking for another project. I volunteered for the broken season video to support an up and coming New Zealand band. A the moment I am concentrating on growing my portfolio.
