Rendering Slow/Freezing
Hi, here’s my problem. So I’m making a 3 minutes video that is a combination is a lot of videos. I’ve done this a lot before, without any trouble or freezing. With this video, however, I have started experiencing problems. Near the end of putting in/moving all of the video/audio files, a specific thing started to occur. As long as the video preview box was open, anytime I hit play then either stop or pause, Vegas would freeze for at least 30 seconds before returning. This problem went away when I hid the preview box. Although this fixed it, it didn’t help me when I had to pan the videos, so it took me 20 times longer than it should have to pan–but I managed. The problem is now, for a lack of a better term, a problem because when I try to render the video, it freezes at certain points (I left it on overnight rendering and it only got to 35%). It seems to freeze at 14%, regardless of what quality/file I render it as, then it resumes a little later and freezes again at another percent. I really want to get this video out so I’d appreciate some help with this problem. Thank you. Sony Vegas 9.0
