Two markers on the same frame. Done in FCP 7

  • The answer in found to the Green transition dissolves was changing the Time Line Properties, only Non interlace worked.

If you used uncompressed for render you get large render files so you have to pick render/fuse Mpeg 2. Top Field First and Bottom Field First were not working for me.

Yes, thank you that solved the problem. I did not know you could use File/ImportP2/clips to bin and then search your hard drive for the contents folder. It loads both video and audio. I thought that was for only importing from a P2 reader.

Going back to link through AMA, there out of sync again so you had the right answer.

Ricky Barrow can I import from a P2 Card reader or do I need the camera? I tried importing the MXF from an external hard drive but the files did not import.

Final Cut Pro is only on a Mac. I find editing on a MAC tedious like trying to get the dock out of the way, if you touch a side their it is again. So it comes down to work flow they all do a great job for what you want.

That’s what I thought so I put back in the ATI 9550 that worked on hte old computer before it fryed. Still same green screen on dissolve. Then I dual boot computer with XP and install Liquid with the ATI 9550 still same green dissolve problem.

I am now a student so I took advantage of the $300 for Media Composer 5, I don’t think AVID really wanted to solve this Liquid problem. There not really answer on the web.

This is the closest to an answer I could find.

I’m one of the 200,000 thinking of upgrading but I keep hearing about the great Final Cut. I had to use FC in college a bit and I found I did not like the workflow it was tedious.

Should I go with Adobe then? I hear Adobe is coming along and perhaps will catch up with FC and MC.

What will be the best NLE system 10 years from now?
