After having to reinstall Liquid 7.2 and updating to 4296 everything works except when I export out Mpeg 2 or AVI including fuse. What happens is the cross dissolves and titles have either green overlay or horizontal lines running across.
Now window Media Video and Quick times files are fine. I assume it’s an encoding problem with Mpeg and AVI, perhaps I do not have something I need. I’m not even sure how to word this problem to search on the closed Avid Liquid forum.
Any ideas to get me started? I could reinstall but I would have to back up my projects prefer not to go that route yet.

Hello, This looks like a mismatch between your video card and some of Liquid’s GPU effects. I had exactly the same problem. When I changed my NVIDIA card to an ATI Radeon one, the problem was solved

That’s what I thought so I put back in the ATI 9550 that worked on hte old computer before it fryed. Still same green screen on dissolve. Then I dual boot computer with XP and install Liquid with the ATI 9550 still same green dissolve problem.

I am now a student so I took advantage of the $300 for Media Composer 5, I don’t think AVID really wanted to solve this Liquid problem. There not really answer on the web.

This is the closest to an answer I could find.

The answer the Green dissolves was changing the Time Line Properties, only Non interlace worked.

If you used uncompressed for render you get large render files so you have to pick render/fuse Mpeg 2. Top Field First and Bottom Field First were not working for me.
