If I understand you correctly, you are using a movie as your custom bubble. If you do use a movie as a custom bubble, Foam will only use the first frame – all other frames are discarded. But your issue with the squarish bubbles should be due to a lack of an Alpha Channel in your custom bubble.

Thanks Barend, unfortunately I was too late in getting on the beta test group so everything is news to me. I recall Perry and his merrymen had even dropped their pricing on SilhoutteRoto a couple of months ago and almost every thought it was an effort on their part to get as many sales in as possible before AE7 was released.

Perhaps it’s a 7.1 thingy we should expect.

Yes that’s it. Create keyframes at the default values. Then move them ahead in time on the timeline as they will be used for the end of the sequence. Then move the timeline indicator back to the start and mess about with the aforesaid parameters.

You may also want to mess about with the camera parameters in Card Dance.

Use the Smoother. Experiment with different settings. Use the Undo before you work with a new setting.

Yes. Create a new composition ONCE. DO the text effect there. Then drop this composition into your final composition. Place the nested composition where the first instance of the heartbeat should occur. Then duplicate it and place the copy where it should appear the second time. Do this until you’ve got 15 copies of the nested composition laid out in perfect timing, on your timeline.

There are other more elegant ways of doing it. But this hould set you up well.

Set your Work Area accordingly. Then perform a render based on the suration of your Work Area.
