  • No way to change anything except the size of the text on one clip.

Right click on your clip, then go to “insert/remove envelope”
    and then click on “velocity”
That will put a line on the clip. You can click on a spot on that line and drag it to make the clip speed up or slow down.

What is the scoop on large images? Can Vegas not handle those of a certain size. I zoom in quite often and would like a guideline as to what is a reasonable size that I might still obtain a strong zoom.

    That’s interesting.
What on earth is the purpose for having the clips blanked out?

    Hi Jeff,
The only files it will trim to size are the old .avi files. It doesn’t do a thing to m2t or m2ts files. They remain has huge as ever even if the clip is only a second long.

I was afraid of that! Thanks
Sure with there were an easier way to render clips which I would like shortened to save space.

There is no way to apply a preset onto existing text though is there so the letters themselves aren’t replaced. I was hoping to change the attributes and not the content similar to what copy and paste attributes does on a clip.

Here’s a pic of what it said:
It’s a large file but it will only go on the audio timeline.

Thanks for that. I don’t think I ever would have figured that one out.

How is the entire mask moved to a different position altogether? The normal edit tool just moves the entire screen around.
