no need for serial. just ask in the regular forums. they are very responsive.

Why would you need to precompose? Straightforward on the footage, I don’t know issues with it. Can you post the tutorial showing the precomp way?

if it’s just in mocha, and After effects is updated, I would contact the mocha team in borisfx website. they are very responsive. don’t forget to come back and tell us how it resolved if that works.

I have done it many times before, you simply add time remapping to the layer, then you can extend it to whatever you wish. I never used a solid before and I am not sure it’s necessary. in the documentation AFAIK there was no such thing

could you try putting the effect on the footage instead of the solid and tell me if that works? I am curious.

my question wasn’t clear. I meant, did you try to put twixtor on the actual footage? that’s how I do it. and I usually use frame manipulation and not speed. for slow down or speed up.

why don’t apply it to the actual footage? why do you need the solid?

I would check if your laptop is supported for Ae system requirements, specifically resolution.

1280×1080 or greater display resolutionif that doesn’t solve it, I would try to update my display driver in the manufacturer website

August 21, 2020 at 8:39 am in reply to: Exporting AfterEffects Titles (with Alpha) to Avid Media Composer 2020you might want to ask that in the Avid forum it might be interpreting issue on the Avid side. if you export through After Effects, to make sure you export alpha correctly, export straight alpha, not premultiplied (with media encoder it’s always straight alpha so no worries there). also try importing the footage back to Ae and see that indeed it has alpha.
