  • Cursor offset in mocha

In the mocha window, my cursor and the actual location of the points are offset. Everything else in mocha and AE works fine once I place all the tracking points and such, but it is all offset from where my cursor appears. In regular AE, the cursor is in the right place.

I have tried to find anyone else with this issue but couldn’t. Does anyone know what is going wrong? I’ve restarted my computer and updated AE in hopes that those would fix it, but they did not.

My computer is a Dell XPS 13 laptop if that helps.

I would check if your laptop is supported for Ae system requirements, specifically resolution.

    1280×1080 or greater display resolution

if that doesn’t solve it, I would try to update my display driver in the manufacturer website

My computer has all the requirements. I just updated my display driver and entire system, but the problem remains.

Whoops, I meant to reply to you with my other comment. My computer fulfills all the requirements for AE, and I just updated drivers and the system. The cursor problem is still here, unfortunately.

if it’s just in mocha, and After effects is updated, I would contact the mocha team in borisfx website. they are very responsive. don’t forget to come back and tell us how it resolved if that works.

Okay, I will do that, thanks. Do you know where I can find my serial number or license string for Mocha AE? I need it to submit my case on their website.

One of the support people figured it out. Because my computer screen is small, my scaling was set pretty high. I decreased it to 150%, and Mocha works correctly now.
