Thanks for your response David. I am applying the effects to the browser clip ok – but your post got me thinking and I cut and pasted my sequence from the timeline into a new fresh sequence and that works fine now. Hooray. So I guess that means my sequence got corrupted?? Would this make sense to you?
    Cheers, Rod

    Hi there
Can any of you 2408wfp owners tell me whether if I connect this via component out of my AJAkona will it behave like a TV monitor would. ie Will it display interlaced PAL full screen (if that what it’s fed) with the option to correct aspect ratio for anamorphic. If that’s not too stupid a question…
    Thanks in advance

Oh just one more thing is that the same incident has lost me the vertical scroll bar from my project in the browser. Any thoughts? Setting the stopwatch now…

I’m actually running my small amount of media off the internal sata (boot) drive for this. Have you any workaround that has been sucessful?

Thanks to you all for these responses. I am feeling a lot more confident the more I read. My skills lie nearer the editing end of the spectrum than the engineering end!
Can anyone find a way of expressing a comparison between Avid Meridien 2:1 resolution and Apple ProRes? This is what I am historically used to conforming and laying back to DigiBeta for delivery in my pre FCP days.
