Yep- Project type is good-

Can’t get the Avid to recognize the deck when it’s in HDV mode.

Any ideas?

Nope- Not new to Avid and the deck works fine when in DV mode- not when in HDV-

I was able to do it with pretty great results in Vegas.

Wht go through all that? Just shoot the tv when you turn it off.
Shoot, as in with a camera!

I was able to set resolution all green before and now, on the same video, I cannot.

I ended up buying the HP xw8200 with dual 3.2 2 meg Xeons and 3 GB ram- and the nvidia quardra FX1400

I suggest you check your port allocation in the deck settings…

You have two configs trying to use the port-
Delete one of the decks.
