Sorry but you seem to contradict yourself… on the one hand you say ofcourse it will record over anything,but on the other a message will come up telling you you cant?

Unless you are doing a transfer to film,why not shoot 25p for editing in PAL? (25p at 60hz)

So what about shooting 60p,for the purpose of slo mo,in 23.98p or 25p.Would you advise still the half setting.. 1/48th /1/50th.Or no shutter 1/60th? or a higher shutter speed?

Sorry to be thick,but if the varicam is constant 60p,then how is the 29.98 NDF time code the same as the running time?
