DVDa only needs to analyze a given video once. After the first analysis a file is written with the necessary info. From that point on DVDa will simply refer to the file.

Try doing subtitles. The subtitles work for me.

You have to redirect the menu button DIRECTLY to the slideshow.

Are you sure you gave it enough time?
You have to give DVDa enough time to analyze the file. The bigger the file then the longer the “not responding” signal. For a 3 hour avc file it can take upwards of a 1/2 hour for DVDa to analyze.

A faster cpu. Vegas (with exception to avc rendering) is completely dependent on cpu power. However P Pro 5 or better is pretty hard to beat in terms of speed.

You can’t use the AC3 studio encoder with Blue Ray…. it’s good only for dvd. You must use the PRO encoder to avoid re-compressing for blu ray.

AC3 can be imported… but it must be done muxed with a video in the form of a MPG or M2TS. You can not import a raw AC3 file (licensing issues)

You can increase dynamic ram in the 32bit version to a max of 3072Mb, but it requires resetting the 1024 max setting in internal settings.
The question is do you REALLY need more than 1gig??
You do know what dynamic ram preview (SHIFT B) is and how it works?

If you actually use dynamic preview (SHIFT B) then go ahead and increase to suit your needs. But if you don’t use SHIFT B then it’s just a waste of memory and you should leave it where it is.
