I wonderif PP 202222 in particular doesn’t run on Sonoma. I’ve been running 1019 and 2023 on my machine but don’t seem to be able to download 2022 — it’s not available for download. Maybe update to 2023?

Great this has worked for you. Do you always upgrade projects for new versions of Pr? Do we now need to save a version of projects somewhere so they can be worked on in older versions that we keep or download.?

Hi, Apple says on the phone that I can use the same SSD as for the imac pro and that the apple store will upgrade it for the cost of the 1 TB card. Is this true? It’s a big job to pack up and move this 27″ 2019 imac.

I figure I’ll have to go to a Tb 3 external dock for a different graphics card.

Hi Jeff,

You have a deck, you have Firewire, I think there could be software issues. The last version of Pr I used to ingest from mini-DV was Pr 2014. The ingested digital files are still good. Current Pr versions may not do this. I wonder if there is other software that will . . .

Such a personal choice. My partner loves her GH5, I replaced a Sony that recorded great pictures because I hated the DSLR ergonomics. Shooting with a small Canon camcorder that shoots like a film camera/super 8/camcorder. It’s always a pleasure to pick up.

I’ve used AME for mxf clips and converted to Pro Res. Not lately.

What is the Affinity video editor for a Mac? I tried to use Resolve but it’s a different type of software and all the answers to my issues came back to hardware (GPU, drive speed, etc.). So I’m skulking back to Adobe. It kind of works, as long as you manage all the so-called upgrade versions. Sigh.

Adobe told me they don’t support anything past the last two versions.
So maybe not Pr 14.
Their support people are really nice smart gentlemen in India but you might have to wait on the phone for an hour. I was running Pr Pro CC “2013.” The guys in India tried eally hard.
