Perhaps precomping the footage, then duplicating the precomp. on the duplicate precomp set it to add, then apply echo and play with the levels to make only highlights get the echoed effect

I though tit was a slim chance. It would be a very powerful tool if they did. Is there a Adobe resource that could answer such a question?

I am having the same issue along with everyone else who got this machine in my department.
Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Processor Speed: 3 GHz
Number Of Processors: 2
Total Number Of Cores: 8
L2 Cache (per processor): 12 MB
Memory: 8 GBI have reduced my RAM cache to 40%, and I think this is helping.
Has anyone found any concrete answers?

I did it and it works, however i can’t find any line thickness attribute.

Looks like you could play with keying your Levels or Exposure (both under color correction) with some kind of ambient blurred background.

I know there are preset mask shapes in AE 7. In the effect & preset window type arrow into the search field. Apply it to a solid.

If I do a Type-on, the letters are not visible but the text field is still x amount of characters long .. therefore justifying right doesn’t help. Am i missing something?
