changing repeated shape layers color with effecting layer
I am using a few shapes on a shape layer and adding a repeater on the y and another repeater on the x to make a pattern. I am calling this Layer A.
I would like to use another layer with an evolving colored pattern(Layer B) to determine the color of the Individually shapes on the shape layer.
Is this possible?

As far as I know, expressions can’t access attributes of individual elements created by a repeater.

I though tit was a slim chance. It would be a very powerful tool if they did. Is there a Adobe resource that could answer such a question?
