Select a Project in the Browser and then in the Inspector window you&#8217;ll see the three-arrow icon.  It&#8217;s called the &#8220;Share Inspector&#8221;.  You can fill out the fields there and FCP will remember your custom settings for that particular Project.</p>

Most applications use both RAM and the cache location as temporary storage while they&#8217;re processing files.  My assumption is that your cache is set to the Library or some other place on your local disk.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re able, you should purchase a really fast separate 1 to 2 TB drive and use it only for the cache location.</p>

It pretty much translates precisely to the digital world of PPI, Pixels Per Inch.</p>
<p>Super 35mm film is 24.89 mm by 18.66 mm (0.980 in by 0.735 in); if your client wants 1200 DPI/PPI, all you need to do is the math.  It works out to be 1176px by 882px. </p>

If you do decide to RAID the drives, be sure to have a backup.  On a RAID 0 volume, if any of the drives fail, your data is lost and gone forever.</p>

There is a newer format for windows called NTFS but it&#8217;s not supported by macOS.</p>

<p>Most importantly. Will the colors be exact? No, but they&#8217;ll be close. Will the colors look good to your eye and be similar to what you saw in person on set? Yes.</p>
<p>First off, don&#8217;t use the &#8220;auto&#8221; white balance on a &#8220;mood&#8221; or multi-colored scene. The multi-colors will just confuse the auto white&hellip;</p>

<p>I use a 2013 Mac Pro (Tube/Trash) can to edit 4K everyday.  I&#8217;ve seen those upgrades at OWC but haven&#8217;t taken advantage of them.  My Mac Pro has 32GB of RAM, it&#8217;s internal drive is only 256GB and the GPU is the FirePro D500</p>
<p>My set up relies on external Thunderbolt 2 drives that I&#8217;ve purchased from OWC.  I have two ThunderBay 4 RAID with&hellip;</p>
