Thanks so much, Rob! Does that go for updates, as well (as opposed to upgrades)?

BTW, I need to key out this green screen on two takes (so that’s two clips from the same camera angle). Could I do that with just one precomp, or would I need to make two comps for that? Naturally there will be a jump cut between the two takes and I don’t know if that will cause a mess or not. As you can see, I’m rather new to After Effects and I wasn’t able to find the answers online. Thank you for your help!

I would appreciate any tips on red hair. It does seem to be fighting the blue background. Thank you, Eric!

Thanks, Eric. I did everything Jason Levine said in his great tutorial and it was a joy to see how well the separate hairs looked on the alpha export. I can try again.

Do you or anyone know where that noise between the actors came from? The rest of the sky looks nice.

p.s. I had previously happily removed “jumping spot” artifacts by placing a copy of the keyed clip above the same keyed clip, this however worsened the other noise I mentioned between the actors and around her hair, etc. Here’s how it looks with only one keyed clip. The noise on the sky is less but the spots on his head are now visible.

The green screen removal was made with 4K Canon footage in Ae on a MSI laptop. Thanks!

Sure. That’s right. But I was just trying to plan on how to approach the problem in general, in the various clips I will need to work on soon. Thanks, Eric!
