    If the computer were the problem, why would the clip play so well on both VLC and QT Player?

    I’ve also tried lighter codecs and different settings, but all I could attain was a smooth source window playback at normal speed yet with diagonal line artefacts that don’t go away with the anti flicker.

    What’s really strange to me, and which might give a clue to the problem, is that every codec and setting I tried always produces a giant oversized playback on the timeline, though it always fit fine on the source monitor.

    Can anyone please advise me?
