Just type in Audio waveform in the search box and assign a keyboard of your own choosing.
You can also click on the “Drag Audio Only” icon to quickly display the waveform(s).

Just disable Rectified Audio Waveforms in the Sequence menu as shown below:

Have you tried saving the preset with both effects applied using the drop down menu of the Effect Controls panel as opposed to going the Ctrl-click > Right-click > save preset route as described above?
Give it a shot and see if it works for you because it does for me. -
1. Open the KB shortcuts dialogue box.
2. Type “Zoom” in the search box.
3. Assign a key to “Zoom To Sequence”.NB: Mine is the “<>” key which is to be found above the Windows key on my keyboard.

Could you offer specifics, please?
In other words, can you quantify the performance difference between similarly-priced PCs and Macs since you’re using both?
The reason I ask is because I have a friend who is starting a video production business centered around Adobe CC 2015 and he is weighing up whether he should go the PC or Mac route.

You need to target the tracks, say V1 and A1, for the Insert keyboard shortcut to work.
