Thanks for taking the time to shed some light on the issue I am encountering. I guess I have no choice but to sell my UltraStudio SDI and take a look at what the competition has to offer.

Can you see it when you go to Preferences > Audio Hardware > Asio Settings > Input? If it is there, just tick the appropriate box and activate it in the Audio Mixer to record a voiceover.

I was referring to the After Effects timeline window.
The icon you want to uncheck is located between the “Shy” icon and the “Quality” icon. All of these icons are to be found next to the topmost layer’s name.

    Hi Ron

Just uncheck the “Collapse Transformations” icon next to the “Shy” icon in the timeline and you’re good to go.

Try killing/ending the dynamiclink process and then get on with the updating process without rebooting.

“I forgot to mention these are EX-3 files in the .mov format”

I suspect these files have been altered (probably by FCP), which is why PPro can’t recognize them. Files produced by the EX-3 are .MP4 files. See if you can get the original files straight from the SXS card.

It’s OK. PPro isn’t perfect but keeps getting better.

If you display the scopes in the programme monitor and use a second monitor to display the timeline then the scopes will update in real time.
