The keyframes aren’t working for me. It’s really frustrating. The keyframes worked just fine on fcp7.

I was talking about the management of the media in the middle browser. Where you can manipulate the keyframes.

I came here to post this. The management on FCP 7 was WAY better. The Ken Burns effect isn’t as great as creating keyframes.

It is still messing up for me even when I put the transition onto the text then make the whole thing into a compound clip.

The reason I asked again is because my clip this time WAS a compound clip. The update makes it easier to add transitions to tracks above the magnetic timeline.

I’m still in the FCP 7 way of editing I guess.

Same thing happening to us. I made a couple of videos in FCPX and the videos were silent talking heads. They videos played fine on YouTube but on TV, the channel one audio was missing.

I brought the video into FCP 7 and re-sent it out because we weren’t having issues with FCP7.

Make sure your project is on stereo and make sure the pan is in the middle and that the pan is not on -1 or +1.

Why even after you organize the event would it keep separate events?

What I figured out is that if you have red file, which means it needs to be reconnected, if you re-import the file back into the event then it automatically reconnects the footage.

It will reconnect the footage even if it has changed places.
Obviously the media has to be the same footage from before with the same duration. You can recapture the footage and give it the same name.
