I guess I will just stick with Primatte in AE. The workflow is just so much better in PP. Thanks for all of the input. I just want to make sure there wasnt a better option than using AE.

Thanks for the replies. I made some adjustments to footage and my work flow is much smoother and the render times have decreased.

Sorry for the confusion, I was giving the file info secondhand by a coworker I will try the settings and report back. Thanks for all the help. You guys are the experts.

Here are the properties for the file. I was wrong we are using an AVI file @ 720×480 but it still gets heavily degraded upon import. I have also included links to screen shots of the difference.
